Thank you. Thank you very much Somerset Valley Middle School. SVMS is hosting our coaches training
Learn2Lax @ SVMS. SVMS and its administrators have been solid help from the start.
Saturday 10:00am-1:00pm Coaches Training
Thank you Debi Mitchell, Kelly Rowell, Elyse Wilson for offering to bring lasagne to Saturday's coaching clinic. Thank you Chrissie Flood, Valerie Whitten and Darcy Rollins for offering bread and salad. It is wonderful, as the trainers are traveling from Portland, at their own coast and on their own free time, to lend expertise to our coaches that we offer lunch. As our coaches are also volunteers it is great to serve them lunch.

Be on alert....It is frequent that we rely on the same helpers but we are working to expand our pool of available assistants. A truly successful MidMaine Lacrosse program will distribute the tasks. All parents have very valuable skills to share. The organization needs mechanisms to outlive particular contributors. The Board of Directors must rotate as kids grow. Even your current fearless leader will resign when her child has graduated. So, please help us any and every time we ask. MidMaine Lacrosse has grown 650% in two years. It is a great (not perfect) self supporting program. We need your talents, expertise and time. No contribution is too small. Recreational sports are VERY different from school sports and there are both gifts and responsibilities entailed. Thank you current 'Cooks for the Coaches.' Others beware.....be ready....help us next time.

And, to ensure survival, next time will be very soon!

Board Members for MidMaine Lacrosse are AVERAGING 4 to 5 hours a day of community volunteerism. The award this past weekend....goes out to Karen Boreham. Karen has painstakingly worked on ALL the US Lacrosse Registrations while concurrently planning our March 30th Tournament and Expo. This has been a HUGE job. !!!! Thank you Karen. Thank you very much. And again, Thank you very much. MML Players and Parents Please (PPP) comment below and share your thanks. Few are expending great effort of behalf of many. Coaches are seeking training. Grants are being written and applied for. Schedules are being arranged. Jump on board...the fastest growing sport in the United States and the World. We need helpers! Let us know you are available and how you would like to contribute.
