GREAT NEWS...MidMaine Lacrosse has been awarded a grant for our Grade 2-6 program. Thank you Mr. Wilson for your contributing efforts to make this happen for the youth in our area. This feeds our 7/8 and high school programs which are working with a Maine Lacrosse Coaches Association Grant and a US Lacrosse First Stick Grant. We appreciate the lacrosse organizations great and generous programs.
Soft Lacrosse Equipment Grant Program
The US Lacrosse Soft Lacrosse Equipment Grant provides soft lacrosse equipment. This grant is designed to initiate and enhance participation in the sport by providing soft lacrosse equipment to schools and community-based organizations. A set of soft lacrosse equipment includes: 30 soft lacrosse sticks, 30 soft lacrosse balls, one (1) copy of the US Lacrosse PE Curriculum Guide and Reproducible packet, and one (1) copy of the Teaching Soft-Stick Lacrosse DVD.
Qualifications
Awarding of a Soft Lacrosse Equipment Grant is limited annually based on resources available. USL places emphasis on applying organizations that are located in emerging lacrosse areas. Qualified applicants can be schools, school systems, community-based programs, and lacrosse programs looking to add an introductory version of the game for younger players.
