Sorry for late notice.
High school, Middle school 6/7/8 and Girls practices are cancelled this evening.

They are current @ 4:30 Friday afternoon.
We can meet in a good spot (TBD) and eat together but
We are all responsible for our own meals.
You may bring food or buy food.
It is supposed to be 80 degrees.
Please bring lots of water for your own personal consumption.
As I remember the previous 2 tournaments we attended,
at a different location,
the parking was crowded and some distance from the play fields.
It does not appear that way on the map...but then again,
for 70 teams, there does not appear a great deal of parking.
Coach Michelle Hubbard has been to this Wainwright Complex and speaks very highly of the facility.
The Baker Family plans to leave @ 6:00am with Zac E and Kollin C.
I recommend an 8:30 arrival.
I recommend an 8:30 arrival.
We have one more weekend with games.
HS 2 home, MS 2 home, 2 away Augusta
There is an ice cream social 6/17 @ 7:00pm.
Below is the last note I received from the tournament director.

Hi Everyone – attached is an updated schedule and updated field map for Saturday’s Lax Fest. Please be sure to check the schedule for your games as there have been a few adjustments from the original schedule. The map has also changed since the one we sent out last week. Please share this with your teams and family members.
As a reminder:
We will have a specific area at Wainwright Fields for Lacrosse parking. Parking is free and you’ll be directed to the appropriate area when you arrive.
At LAX CENTRAL, you’ll also find:
- Food Concessions
-T-Shirt Concessions (and we have some great hats this year as well!)
- Golf cart support for family members who may need some assistance getting to the fields
- Answers to any other questions you may have

Ted Hellier
Middle School Ted Hellier Festival Game times are 2:25 and 3:20pm on Saturday 6/7 in South Portland.
I would encourage all middle school players to attend as much of the day as possible.
There are TEN simultaneous lacrosse games being played all day long.
It will take time to travel from parking to specific field sights.
If you need a ride I need to know by noon on Friday.
Thanks, Gretchen
It's Gonna Be a GREAT Day.

MS Schedule Delay
We are WAITING for the final schedule for Ted Hellier. The wait is due in part because of our multiple (some last minute) special requests. Our commitment, made two months ago, was 8am-5pm. The tournament organizers are trying to accommodate the last minute request from Middle School MidMaine Lacrosse for a later start. We await word. They are also trying to reschedule us "NOT to play the top 8th grade teams". We did ask for this early on and our request fell by the wayside. It was not noticed last week when the draft tournament schedule was made public. Volunteers at Ted Hellier have been fabulous to deal with. JUST TERRIFIC. I expect word today but the changes may come at the last minute. If we are fortunate and they can make such last minute changes we will need to be thankful. Keep checking back and keep cradling!

The Ted Hellier Lacrosse Festival soon approaches. It promises to be a fun filled day of lacrosse. It is a further drive than some of our routine contests. It is yet another distanced drive for our overloaded 6/7/8 middle school team. (We will continue learning and next year the middle school schedule will be closer and kinder.) In the meantime, thank you ALL for your committed efforts to see the problem places through. We promised we were learning and would make mistakes. We have. We have made mistakes. We are learning from them.
There are middle school and high school parents willing to bring players in need of rides to South Portland. If you are a work weary parent and choose to arrive for the afternoon and not the share the entire day, we will strive, as an organization, to see that all players are ready for their 8:50 and 9:45 first game starts (ms and hs respectively). If you are a work weary coach and choose to arrive in the afternoon, alternate coaches will temporarily fill your spot, for this one moment in time. We can problem solve and still enjoy the experience of the Ted Hellier Festival. Please let Gretchen or Karen know of transportation needs. Thanks to all. Gretchen
