Housekeeping

Housekeeping

MidMaine Lacrosse is off to a great start.
Thank you.

Some items for consideration

1. If you are confused, then the MML Parent/BOD is sure to have confused many. So please, if you are confused, ask us and we will address the area of confusion. We are growing so fast. We have many super helpers but there are never enough helpers. We are going to make mistakes so, if you think we might have made a mistake, please bring it to our attention.

2. All sales, fund raisers, trips and group projects must be approved annually by the Parent/BOD. Many people have great ideas. The Board is likely to approve most projects. The Parent/Board of Director’s strengthens our organization. It allows for a transition of leadership over time. It allows for systematic growth. All projects MUST be approved annually by the leadership at our monthly meetings. If you cannot attend a meeting and have a great idea or fund raising idea please ask someone to share your idea or information. We have voted on and follow by-laws from a similar organization. Hopefully, we will soon have time to recreate such by-laws for ourselves.

3. The weather leaves some final details for the Tegenhondi Tournament evasive. We will not be able to announce schedules etc. until Tuesday, April 28th. The Tournament is Saturday, May 2nd. (There is a slight possibility we might need to conduct the tournament over Saturday May 2nd and Sunday May 3rd.) This is ALL due to weather. Please keep your time available on those dates. This is one of two annual fundraisers which support our entire organization.

4.  Please sell CALENDAR RAFFLES. This is such a super method to fund our future. We need paint for fields. We need to support 7 teams. We have requested that each player sell 5 but it would be terrific if each player sold 20+. Calendars are due to be turned in to coaches Tuesday, April 28th.

5.  Does each team have a Team Parent and Field Manager? Please consider and discuss these roles with your coaches.
